I call this picture "Salmon Cat" because my sibling watched a show called Sam and Cat and one episone of the tv show was talking about an older made up show called Salmon cat. I thought that it would be nice if the hybrid would be surrounded by the ocean and it being placed on a rock. I wanted the salmon cat to be blue, but I thought it would be too many darker colors than lighter ones.
I wanted this picture to have a house, more trees that some would be alive and some that looked like they were hybernating. In the end, I wanted it to be a small cemetary with some flowers and birds in the sky to be a little eerie.
Flipbook
I started out this flipbook by drawing the little purple person and started making it move. Around the time where i finished making the little purple person and its animation, i realized that it needed to jump for somthing, so i made the tall pink person and the muffin. It is stationary for most of the process but its arm moves and the eye moves around the end of the process. The reason I made this is because people (like older siblings and their younger siblings) will try and somewhat bully them and somtimes the underdog wins the day. So in this flipbook, i wanted the little purple person to reach for the muffin the big pink person is "baiting".
Market
This market was an idea of mine that I thought would be nice to express. In this piece, I made little shops that someone could buy from and they are trying to sell masks. People that are walking are wearing the masks that they bought and a person's mask is to the side of their face, that should symbolize that the person is realizing that this product is a lie. People today are usually selling things that the person promotes highly and a lot of people buy them. Thats why the people selling masks are happy and don't exactly have a mask on themselves. I had the market idea because I seen a movie that had a marketplace in it and had animals that acted like humans that were buying the produce.
Little Fox
The little fox was experimental and I thought it was cute enough to see it all the way through! The piece was about a couple weeks long and I made it with sharpies.
